1/25/2010 11:12:44 PM

Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 25

Jammu Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) activists led by General Secretary Anita Thakur toured border areas of RS Pura and Suchetgarh to celebrate lifting of ban on pre-paid Mobile services in the state.
Speaking on the occasion, Anita Thakur reminded the people that it was Panthers Party which always stood for the common man’s cause.
She claimed that it was Panthers Party which restored full salaries to the employees when Sheikh Abdullah government in 1981 had reduced them to a half. Similarly, the institutions of Numberdaries and Chowkidaries were saved by the party which the National Conference wanted to demolish.
It was Panthers Party and Prof Bhim Singh who have made untold sacrifices for the sake of the people of Jammu and Kashmir and now we are fighting for re-organization of the state, she declared.
