| Bukhari, Rashpaul address rally in Rajouri | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Jan 25- Vice Chairmen of J&K State Pahari Advisory Board Mushtaq Ahmed Bukhari and J&K State Kissan Board Thakur Rachpal Singh today addressed the fist public gathering at Muradpur, after taking over the charge of the status of Ministers of State. Both the leaders thanked Omar Abdullah, Chief Minister for giving them the assignments directly related to the derived people of the state. Addressing gathering, Mushtaq Bukhari who is also the Chairman of J&K Pahari Cultural and Welfare Forum, said that his priority will be pressing the demand of ST status for the Pahari community. He said that he is happy that he has been given work to serve people of Pahari community and he is working to draft a roadmap for this. Bukhari added that Pahari tribe has maintained its nomadic culture and fully deserve ST status. On the occasion, Thakur Rachpal Singh, Vice Chairman J&K State Kissan Board said that the Board will draft a plan for the welfare of the farmers of this state as the Board is directly linked with the general people. He appealed people to cooperate them so that they can do justice with their position. Meanwhile both the leaders inspected work of Muradpur Bridge for which Rs 9 crore has already been released by the government. Others who accompanied them included Nissar Rahi, Haq Nawaz Mirza, Shahbaz Khan, Chief Executive Pahari Peoples Movement, Sajjad Tariq and Iqbal Malik.
