| Sukhdev dares police to prove his criminal record | | |

Udhampur Jan 25- Criticizing the district administration’s decision of canceling license for his personnel pistol, PDP leader Sukh Dev Sharma today dared the district police to prove any criminal record against him and threatened to challenge this illegal order in the Court.
Addressing media persons here today Sharma said that district administration has cancelled his personnel pistol license issued for self protection along with licenses of five other persons having criminal record.
Coming down heavily on DIG Udhampur Gulzar Singh Salathia, the PDP leader said that police and district administration is bent upon to malign his image and forcing him to adopt path of criminals. He added that on his request and being district president of party he had been issued pistol license for self protection but the District Magistrate cancelled his license few days back without any logic.
He challenged police to prove any criminal record against him in the district and also threatened to challenge cancellation order in court. He added that few days back some miscreants involved in bovine animals smuggling with nexus of police attacked upon him and he only survived when he opened a shot in air for self protection. He added that his shop located at Samroli along with furniture of lakhs was burnt in attack and despite giving protection to him administration cancelled his license which is quite amazing.
