| KPs organize protest outside Congress Hqrs, seek apology from Tewari | | | Early Times Report New Delhi, Jan 27- Hundreds of Kashmiri Pandits today organized a protest outside Congress Headquarters on Akbar Road to condemn the statement of Congress Spokesperson Manish Tiwari stating that Kashmiri Pandits were driven out of the valley in 1990 due to "fear psychosis of then Governor Jagmohan". The activists from Roots in Kashmir, Kashmiri Samiti Delhi, Panun Kashmir, Vichar Manch and All India Kashmiri Samaj took part in the protest demonstration and also burnt the effigy of Tewari. The protestors were demanding immediate unconditional apology from the congress spokesperson as otherwise they would be forced to launch mass protest campaign throughout the country. ‘We expect the Congress party to clear its stand as well on the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits, which was stated as ‘akin to genocide’ by National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) among its other observations. Meanwhile, Congress Spokesperson Manish Tiwari has been stormed for past four days by anxious callers and was bombarded with protest messages by members of angry Pandit community from across the globe.
