| State legal service employees frames asso. | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Jan 27: All the employees working in J&K state legal services authority on different posts have formed an association for the re-dressal of their genuine grievances right from erstwhile legal aid board to state legal services authority. The election of the office bearers were held in both provinces, Jammu and Kashmir on 15th Jan and 23rd Jan 2010 respectively and elected the office bearers MM Shah as advisor, Shiv Lal Sharma as President, Ranjana Tiku as vice president, Farroq Ahmad Wani, as general secretary, Anil Chowdhary as secretary, Manzoor Ahmed Wani, organizer, Abdul Khaliq Bhat as public secretary, Muzamil Hayat as treasurer with Ravi Kumar Raina, Rabinder Singh, Abdul Rashid Ganai and Muzafer Ahmed as executive members. The need to form the association arises because of the non serious attitude of the authorities, as the affairs of the legal services authority are managed by the joint control of law department and judiciary. The employees being law graduates and qualified officials were appointed in the erstwhile legal aid and advice board in the year 1984 are stagnated on the vary some posts on which they were initially appointed. The employees of the state legal services authority are running after the authorities for re-organization of the state legal services authority, so that avenues could be created and the grievances of the employees could be met. The file regarding re-organization/ creation is still pending with the government for last four years without any result sofor.
