Jammu, Jan 27: The untimely demise of Smt. Chenu Mehra, women worker of National Conference (NC) was condoled by the leaders and workers of the party here today.
A large number of NC leaders and workers joined her funeral today at Mishriwala, A condolence meeting was organized by Laxmi Dutta provincial president women wing at Sher-e-Kashmri Bhawan to condole the sudden demise of late Chenu Mehra. Rattan Lal Gupta paid rich tributes to late Chenu Mehra and said Mehra was a strench NC worker and worked for the party for a long time. She was a social worker and helped the poor and needy people in her area. Her services shall be remembered for a long time.
