| Rajbhasha award organized at PCDA office | | |

Jammu, Jan 28: Rajbhasha award ceremony was organized at Conference Hall of Principal Controller of Defence Accounts (Northern Command) Office, Jammu today.
According to official spokesperson Parminder Sodhi, Commissioner Central Excise, Jammu attended the occasion as chief guest who distributed the prizes and certificates of appreciation to the winners.
‘Hindi essay writing, hindi poem recitation, hindi speech and noting and drafting competitions were organized in the PCDA office during the Hindi Pakhwara celebrations. Earlier in his address, the Chairperson of the function, Gautam Sen, Principal Controller of Defence Accounts, Northern Command stated that the jurisdiction of our Northern Command is spread over from Pathankot area of Punjab to the difficult terrain of Jammu and Kashmir, In all Defence Accounts Departments, use of Official Language is being suitably propagated and ministerial staff enjoy working in Rajbhasah.
The ceremony was attended by Shiv Ram Gupta, Official Language Officer, Central Excise Jammu, the Deputy and Assistant Controllers including the other senior officers and staff members of PCDA Jammu office.
