| Symposium on Gandhian Philosophy of Life’ held | | |

Jammu, Jan 28: Government College for Women, Prade Ground, in collaboration with Gandhi global Family J&K State organized an Intra College Symposium on Gandhian Philosophy of Life: truth, non-violence and justice on 28th of January 2010 in the College Auditorium. Principal of the College Dr. Savitri Sharma while addressing the students on the occasion exhorted them to follow the Gandhian path of truth and non-violence for making the world a peaceful place. S.P. Verma State president Gandhi Global family, Pradeep Gandotra Vice President GGF, Madam Gandotra and Abdul Majeed (GGF) were also present on the occasion. Pradeep Gandotra, highlighted the role of Global Gandhi family in spreading the message of Mahatma Gandhi among the youth of the State. Abdul Majid also spoke on the occasion. Twelve students participated in the symposium who were assessed by a team of judges. Revti was adjudged as the best speaker. The programme was ably conducted by Hennah and Anushka.
