Early Times Report Jammu, Jan 28: The state council of Communist party of India (CPI) in a meeting chaired by G.M. Yatoo discussed various issues with regard to price rise of essential commodities which has increased by more than 50% and that of pulses by more than 100 percent. He said sugar, milk, eggs have also touched new heights and is beyond the reach of common man. Yatoo said, that no adequate measures to curb such rise have been taken seriously the government. He said party has decided to held massive demonstration on February 8, 2010 against price hike. He further said CPI has proposed to held demonstration before parliament in New Delhi on March12. In the meeting it was decided to take Com Rakesh Sharma as assistant secretary, CPI, Jammu region.
