| Vision Kashmir terms special package as ‘punishment’ | | |
Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 28- Vision Kashmir has termed the special employment package to Kashmiri Pandit migrants as a ‘Punishment Package’.
Addressing a press conference here today Sunil Fotedar, Convener of Vision Kashmir, said that ‘the outrage of the uprooted community by the present ruling combine exhibits their inability to deliver justice to the community in distress’, but simply lure the community with their hollow slogans. If the government has soft corner for the uprooted community, as claimed by the Chief Minister himself, then why the NC led coalition is dilly-dallying and hoodwinking the present burning issues of the community like enhancement in cash relief, compensation to the over aged youth and health insurance.
Commenting on Justice Sageer Report and the ‘Quiet Diplomacy’, Fotedar pointed out that under Article 370, J&K State was already enjoying a special status but what circumstances led Government of India to change its policy on Kashmir and enter into ‘quite dialogue’ by naming it as ‘Quit Diplomacy’ being fully aware of the fact that the people with whom GOI are carrying secret parleys do not represent Hindus, Sikhs, Buddhists and other communities of the state.
“Since Kashmir valley being metamorphosed in purely fundamentalist tradition, where all vestiges of Hindu glory have been demolished and defaced, the uprooted community can only preserve their sanctity and glory only when ‘Separate Enclave’ with autonomous administrative and political region is craved out for them” he further said.
