JAMMU, JAN 29: The Chief Warden, Civil Defence Organization, Jammu, Mr. Jugal Mahajan called on the Governor, Mr. N. N. Vohra, at Raj Bhavan, here today.
Mahajan urged the Governor about the need for taking adequate measures for strengthening the Civil Defence Organization in Jammu, organizing regular trainings, provision of communication facilities and adequate financial resources for carrying out day-to-day activities of the Organization to keep it ever-ready to meet any arising emergency.
The Deputy Chief Wardens, Civil Defence, Jammu, Mr. Vinod Malhotra and Mr. Paramjeet Kumar were also present.
The Governor gave a patient hearing to the deputation and assured early review of the obtaining readiness of the Disaster Management Organisation.
