| Panthers to contest Panchayat, Civic polls | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 29-
Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party in its provincial committee meeting held under the chairmanship of former MLA Faquir Nath has unanimously decided to contest upcoming Panchayat and Municipal Corporation election 2010 with full strength.
The party has appealed the people to support the Panthers Party candidates for bringing justice to everybody.
Faquir Nath, who is also the provincial president of the party, appealed to the farmers, traders, students, artisans, Ex-servicemen, all the NGOs and especially to the women folk to participate in these elections and cast their votes in favour of the Panthers Party candidates.
During the meeting, the participants demanded supply of adequate ration supply to the people through PDS especially in the drought hit areas of Jammu region.
Faquir Nath also urged upon the people to enlist their names in the membership drive launched by the party to show their strength to bring justice to the people.
Among others who attended the meeting included Khazoor Singh provincial vice-president, Rajesh Padgotra provincial general secretary, Shanker Singh Chib district president Jammu rural, Ghulam Ali state president Young Panthers, Daljit Singh state vice-president, Rakesh Gupta, secretary Young Panthers, Neelam Mahajan and Ashok Randawa provincial secretaries.
