| Camp on AIDS awareness held in Rajouri | | |

RAJOURI, Jan 30
Society for Environmental Protection & Human Rights (SEPHR) organised a day-long awareness camp on “AIDS, its causes and prevention” at village Badoon in district Rajouri under Targeted Intervention Project (National AIDS Control Programme –III).
The objective for organizing the camp was to ensure HIV/AIDS free society and environment. The camp was attended by local people, Panchayat members, social workers and women activists.
Mirza Muqbool Hussain, prominent villager was chief guest in the function. In his address, he called upon the villagers to come forward for harnessing benefit of services offered by Society under the project in their areas.
Nassir Khan, an active social worker along with Sunita, Yusuf and Nazma made participants aware about HIV/AIDS. They also called upon pregnant women for safe hospital delivery.
