Jammu & Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI) collaboration with Credit Guarantee Fund Trust For Micro & Small Enterprises (CGTMSE), Mumbai organized a day long entrepreneurship Awareness Programme (EAP) at Udhyog Bhawan,.
Chief guest Dr M I Parray, Director JKEDI in his address gave a brief detail of the various activities of the institute. He assured of every possible support to the entrepreneurs for starting their ventures.
Course Coordinator, Vishal Ray on this occasion said that Collateral Security/Third party Guarantee is one of the main problem that hinders the growth of micro and small enterprises throughout the country but the incidence of this problem is quite high in the state of Jammu & Kashmir. He said the objective of the awareness programme is to make the local businessmen aware of Credit Guarantee Scheme and mobilize the resources through this scheme so that it helps in the growth and development of Business in the State.
A total of 20 participants from the district attended the programme. Dr. S K Islam, Incharge Academics were among other officials of JKEDI who were present on the occasion.
