Teachers, parents equally responsible for imparting quality education: Manohar

JAMMU, JANUARY 31- Minister for Cooperative, Dr. Manohar Lal Sharma today asked the teaching community and the parents to share the responsibility of imparting quality education and moral based values to the students for securing a better future for them.
The Minister was speaking at the annual day function of Brahm Reshi Babura Anant Vidya Peeth School, Mahanpur and Jawahar Model School, Phinter in Billawar tehsil.
Dr Manohar said that the teacher and parents are equally responsible in imparting quality education and inculcating good habits among the students and urged upon them to take this as a mission, not as a duty.
Students of both the educational institutions presented scintillating variety cultural programme on the occasion, which was highly appreciated by the audience.
The Minister distributed prizes among the students for their outstanding performances in the cultural programme.
Joint Director School Education, Jammu and SDM Billawar were also present on the occasion.
