| Channi Himmat residents express concern over erratic power supply | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Jan 31- Channi Himmat Residents Association, in a meeting held under the chairmanship of Advocate V.K.Grover, discussed the situation arising out of unscheduled power curtailment resorted to by the Power Development Department.
The members expressed deep concern over frequent shut downs lasting nearly for ten hours a day when the colony is already reeling under the threats of robberies so frequently,
The department had assured uninterrupted power supply while installing the electronic meters. The prevailing power supply scenario constitutes administrative deceit; the members pointed out and appealed the Chief Minister to intervene in the matter as in the absence of any remedial steps the residents may be compelled to resort to agitation to secure justice at par with other areas of Jammu.
