| Coalition’s wrong policies compounding woes of masses: PDP | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Jan 31- Calling upon the party workers to expose the anti-people policies of the present dispensation, former Minister and senior PDP leader Peer Mohammad Hussain has alleged that ever since the NC led government took over the people’s problems have compounded.
Addressing a function organized by the youth wing of the party, Hussain said that government has failed on all fronts and its one year’s performance was zero. ‘Except photo sessions and press releases, nothing concrete is visible on ground”, he observed. Calling upon the party workers to expose misdeeds of this government, PDP leader warned that his party activists would not remain a mute spectator to the anti-people policies of the government. He asserted that PDP would take peoples’ problems on the streets to force the government to take some concrete steps for their solution.
Pointing towards mounting problems of common masses, the former Minister said that every section of the society has been bearing the brunt of the wrong policies of this regime. He especially mentioned that most parts of the state have been confronting with the shortage of ration. “On the one hand prices of essential commodities are increasing with every passing day, while on the other ration is not available on government run depots”, he regretted.
Speaking on the occasion MLA Darhal Choudhary Zulfikar Ali asked the people to compare three year regime of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed with present government. He said PDP led regime has not only strengthened reconciliation process but also carved out a path of equitable development”, he said and asked the party workers to educate the masses about policies and programs of the party.
PDP youth wing president Bashir Asad in his address lambasted the coalition regime for adopting casual approach towards problems of the youth especially the unemployed educated lot. “One year is a long period to judge performance of government”, he said and vowed to oppose its wrong policies.
Abdul Rashid Malik, Rafiq Malik, Nadeem Khan, Rajinder Manhas and other senior leaders also addressed the meeting.
