| Electric employees meet Minister | | | Early Times Report
Jammu February 01- Jammu and Kashmir Electric Employees and Workers Federation today called on Minister of State for Power, Mr. Shabir Ahmad Khan and presented him a charter of demands of the employees of Power Development Department and Power Development Corporation and urged for early redressal of the same.
The deputation led by its General Secretary, Mr. Abdul Majid pleaded for regularization of daily wagers and casual labours working in Power Development Department for a long time. They also demanded for implementation of SRO 149 and SRO 59 in the Department and urged for release of technical grades to ITI and non-ITI employees, besides, providing risk allowances to field staff of the Department.
The Minister assured the deputationists that their genuine demands would be looked into sympathetically.
