| Army donates school building in Rajouri | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Feb 1
In yet another gesture to reach out to the locals, Army today donated an additional room and two toilets at Government Middle School, Dag Chhanni under the Border Area Development Project (BADP). Under the project, one additional room and two toilets were constructed by Tiger Division and it was inaugurated by Commander Sunrise Brigade, Brigadier Sanjiv Bajaj along with Subedar (retd) Inder Singh. The room and toilets have been constructed with the view of providing better facilities to the school children of the village. The event was given publicity and assistance by Pushpa Devi, Principal Government Middle School, Dag Chhanni. Several important dignitaries of the village were present during the inauguration. Everyone expressed their gratitude towards the Army for the noble cause of providing infrastructure to the future citizens. As per the press statement, such projects are a part of the Army’s drive to reach out to the civilian population in remote areas and the response generated reflected the close bonding between the civilian population and the Army.
