| Pahri leaders get reception at Rajouri | | Bukari on Phari region tour | |

The newly nominated Vice- Chairman of State Phari Advisory Board , Syed Mushtaq Ahmed Bukhari was given warm reception by the various organizations fighting for Phari cause on Tuesday during his first tour of Rajouri and Poonch after being nominated as Vice -Chairman. Bukhari was also accompanied by prominent Phari leaders like Ravinder Sharma (MLC) and former speaker J and K legislative assembly , Mirza Abdul Rashid.
Giving details, sources said, earlier reaching at Sunderbani the first station of Rajouri district, Bukhari and other Phari leaders were received by large number of the youth with garlands raising slogans in favor schedule tribe status for which the community is struggling for the past three decades at least. While speaking to the gathering here, MLC Ravinder Sharma assured the people that the congress government at centre was well aware of the plight of the pahari people of the region . “ We will not leave any stone unturned for the just and genuine cause of the community”, said Sharma assuring that the state government will soon again recommend the case of Phari people to the central government . Vice Chairman of state pahari advisory board , Mushtaq Bukhari also addressed the gathering and assured them that their long pending dream of schedule tribe status will be accorded to them in the time of present dispensation of the state .
Later reaching at Rajouri, a small selected gathering of the Phari community while welcoming the new Vice Chairman urged upn the leaders of the community to shun the path of Gandhi politics and adopt the way of late freedom fighter Sardar Bhagat Singh to get the status . Speaking on the occasion, Sardar Nirmaan Singh, said that if the Phari community wants to reach at the logical end they will have to leave the Gnadhi politics and go for Bhagat Singh path . He was also endorsed by the majority of the speakers who took part in the discussion . However, none of the prominent Phari leader supported the idea while speaking on the occasion though they assured the gathering that they were ready to make any scarify for the community cause .
