Vohra , Omar condole Chiragi’s demise

JAMMU, FEBRUARY 2-
Governor NN Vohra and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah have condoled the demise of veteran Journalist Mohan Chiragi.
The Governor, Mr. N. N. Vohra, has expressed grief over the death of the veteran journalist and former Editor, Qaumi Awaz, Mr. Mohan Chiragi, who passed away today.
In a condolence message, the Governor recalled the contribution of Mr. Chiragi to the development of Urdu journalism in the State and the country.
The Governor conveyed his condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul.
In a message, the Chief Minister recalled the contribution of Mr Chiragi in the field of Urdu media and said that he has set a trend of healthy journalism which will continue to guide the budding journalists. In his death, Mr Omar said, the media in general and the State in particular has lost a thoughtful journalist whose writings will inspire the people for a long.
The Chief Minister has conveyed his sympathies to the bereaved family.
