MLA Surankote Ch. Mohammad Aslam today distributed cheques for financial assistance under Indira Awaas Yojana to the people living Below Poverty Line (BPL) in an impressive function or ganised by office of the Block Development Officer Surankote.A total of 60 beneficiaries were eing issued heques amounting to Rs. 12-00 lacs as first installment for construction of houses.BDO Surankote Dr. Anirudh Rai peaking on the occassion presented a detailed charter of activities under varios developmental schemes which have been put to execution by the Rural Development Department. He presented a review of various works and assured the MLA that the works will be completed well in time before the close of financial year
