Jammu, Feb 02: Dr. Sabhyata Gupta Vaid, senior consultant gynecology and gynaeoncology and Padam Shri recipient Dr. Ashok Vaid chairman iconology and hematology, Medanta cancer Institute (The Medicity) Gurgaon, Haryana will give free constancy to cancer patients at Jammu on Sunday 7th of Feb from 10am. To 4pm.
On the request and motivation of Pawan Shastri, president Jammu Yatri Bhawan trust, Dr. Ashok Vaid has agreed to give free consultation to cancer patients in Jammu once every month. The first such free consultancy camp on cancer will be held on Sunday Feb 7 at Thakar Dwara, 3-Shakti Nagar, near bridge over Ranbir canal, leading to Shakti Nagar and Bakshi Nagar Jammu. Dr. Vaid, a son of the soil, belonging originally to Bilawar in Kathua district of Jammu has excelled and achieved excellence in treating the cancer patients all over the country and even abroad. For his distinguish services in the field he has been honoured with Padam Shri title. Dr. Ashok Vaid, who along with his wife and some other family members was recently at Haridwar to perform religious rites of his late father and was putting up at Jammu Yatri Bhawan Haridwar, was requested by Pawan Shastri to render free services to the cancer patients in his home place Jammu and the latter gratefully agreed to the same as a mark of homage to his late father.
