| English play on Bonaparte likely in March | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Feb 3: Furthering the legacy of English theatre in Jammu, the group that recently has accomplished the feat of being the pioneers in presenting the first ever English play in Annual Drama Festival here has announced a bigger project on an eventful aspect of life of Napolean Bonaparte. The group has announced to perform ‘The Man of Destiny’, a play written by all time great playwrights George Bernard Shaw on Napolean Bonaparte’s final onslaught on Austrians on Lodi and the following demeanor brought to the General by a strange lady through a letter that suspiciously brings a woman’s infidelity on the fore. Vikram Sharma who successfully has presented Jean Paul Sartre’s French play ‘Huis Clos’ in the Annual Drama Festival is once gain in the league with the new venture with the same team of Seegar Bhushan, Pallavi Sharma and Rahul Kumar venturing into the new project. The play is likely to be performed in the last week of March at Abhinav Theatre
