| Heritage School bags second prize | | |
Early Times Report Jammu, Feb 3 On the occasion of World Wetland Day, J&K State Pollution Control Board yesterday organized a programme at Mansar. Several schools participated in different competitions focusing Environment and Pollution, which were organized specially to mark the day. Students of Heritage School, Jammu also took part in Clean Technology Project and Painting competition. Besides bagging second position in this Inter School-cum-Inter College competition, another Heritage School student stood second in Painting competition. Students who participated for the Project included Karandeep Singh, Anuj Gupta, Joydeep Singh, Sharika Sharma, Mahima Sagar and Shivakshi while Shivakshi Bandral clinched second spot in Painting contest. Students, the co-ordinators of the programme namely Subeena Dogra and Neelam Mani were acknowledged by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and Union Minister of State for Environment, Forest and Wild Life Jai Ram Ramesh for their performances.
