JAMMU, Feb 3: The J&K OBC Jagriti Manch in a meeting held today at Muthi demanded that the government should enhance the reservation quota from two percent to 10% as per SRO 294. Addressing the members Madan Lal Chargotra said Manch was already apprizes the Congress president Prof. Saif-ud-din-Soz at a convention of OBC Jagriti Manch on September 17, 2009 which was attended by large number of Congress ministers.
Chalgotra said Prof. Saif-ud-din-Soz has issued directions to revenue and rehabilitation minister for issuance OBC certificate etc. But till no action has been taken. He appealed to Prof. Soz to solve problems of the community on grass root level.
