Early Times Report
Kathua , Feb 4
Child labor is becoming serious cause of concern as city of Kathua has turned in to a hub of child laborers because everywhere the innocent children can be seen indulged in labor. Bonded child labors under clutches of prominent citizens, top politicians, many bureaucrats and big businessmen have become usual. Range of age of these working children varies from 8year to 14years and their duties in the homes of these rich people to take care the minor babies, cleaning the entire house, carrying the luggage, look after the dogs besides these children can be seen working in the various restaurants, sweets shops, provisional shops, Dhabas, at reharis and in several industries.
It is often seen that a number of NGOs claim to work for the eradication of the bounded child labour and organize big seminars as well as function in collaborated with government agencies oftenly but the fact is that the number of bonded children particularly in Kathua is speedily increasing and it has been proved that all the Non Government Organization are plundering huge amounts as funds in nexus with corrupt government agencies for eradication of the bonded child labour.
In Kathua child labour is a major threat to frame work of society and strength as no nation can survive without the strong handworker, healthy and well educated youth so these working children are the asset of the nation and of whole society that’s why it becomes moral duty of every citizen to protect the valuable lives of working children to protect the future of the state and nation.
