| JKTF demands enquiry in violation committed by Rajouri edu deptt | | | Early Times Report Rajouri, Feb 5 Jammu & Kashmir Teachers Forum (JKTF) deputation met Director School Education Jammu demanding her to initiate enquiry into non-implementation of government order in the district regarding rotation of teachers engaged in Sarva Siksha Abiyan scheme as Zonal Resource Person (ZRP), Cluster Resource Persons (CRP) and DRG. Shahbaz Khan JKTF Chairman for Rajouri Poonch Region, leaders of the forum alonwith Vinod Sharma, District President JKTF Gulshan Kumar, Zaffar Iqbal, Rohit Gupta, Shiv Dutt, Mohammad Azam and Shokat Javed Zahida Khan at Rajouri during her tour to this border district. Shahbaz Khan apprised the Director that there are many influential teachers in Rajouri district who were engaged in SSA scheme and have not rotated even though government had issued orders to rotate them. Giving examples of non implementation of government orders and policies on ground, Khan said that there are 17 orders for replacement of staff under SSA scheme after performing two years of service. He said that order No Edu/SPD/SSA-28131-33 dated 17-04-2008 was violated after Order No 12387-92 and Order No 357107 dated 26-12-2007 were not implemented. He added that they can show a dozen orders which have been gathering dust under the cupboards of Chief Education Officer and Zonal Education Officers. Expressing anguish over the mismanagement of the authorities in adjusting the official language teachers, Shahbaz Khan told Director that there are many school where the strength of Urdu knowing teachers is 200 and they have been given one Urdu teacher and 11 Hindi teachers whereas there are also some schools where there are only 50 strength of Urdu knowing students and there are 6 Urdu knowing teachers. He said that the department should adopt balance in giving due share to all languages particularly Urdu which the official language of the state. Zahida Khan listened patiently to the demands of the Forum and assured action on it.
