| Police organizes Bugle,Turban Tying Competitions | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, February 05: The Director General of Police (DGP), Mr. Kuldeep Khoda stressed upon the officers to organize competitive events to inculcate discipline in the ranks of the force. Mr Kodha was speaking at valedictory function of Turban Tying and Bugle Playing Competitions held at Police Sports Stadium, Gulshan Ground here this evening.The function was organized by Jammu and Kashmir Armed Police . In the Buglers Competition, 29 jawans took part, while in Turban Tying Competition, 28 personnel from Jammu based IRP and Armed police personnel participated. The aim and objective of holding such type of competitions is to strengthen the value of discipline among the personnel. In the Bugle Playing Competition, Head Constable, Mr. Sunit Singh of IRP 3rd Battalion, bagged the first position , Mr. Showkat Ahmed of AP 13th Battalion was adjudged as second and the third position was bagged by Constable Mr. Rajiv Kumar of AP 5th Battalion. Similarly, in the Turbine Tying Competition, the first position was bagged by ASI, Mr. Faiyaz Ahmed of AP 12th Battalion while as Head Constable, Mr. Ghulam Mohammad of IRP 3rd Battalion and Head Constable, Mr. Mohammad Qasim of IRP 8th Battalion bagged second and third position respectively. Later, the DGP distributed the prizes and Commendation Certificates among the position holders. Among others, the function was attended by Inspectors General of Police, Dilbag Singh, Owais Ahmed and AK Gupta, Deputy Inspectors General of Police, Alok Puri, Yoginder Koul, Mr. T. Punchok, Mr. Sunil Kumar, Mr. Danish Rana and Mr. A. S. Bali, AIGs, Mr. N. D. Wani, Mr. Ali Mohammad and other police officers,
