| Infosys organizes recruitment drive at SET | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Feb 5: SET Business School, Bari- Brahamana (An institute of Shivalik Educational Trust) for MBA & BBA, organized Infosys Job Drive with over 4500 openings all across India, for those graduating in 2010. Job drive was a platform for providing job opportunities and corporate exposure to the students of Jammu region. This event contributes to the SET’s continuous endeavor for quality education with emphasis on trainings & placements. More than 300 students from 25 colleges, accompanied by their faculty members participated in this job drive. The selection process consisted of written test, group discussion and personal interview, which were conducted by Rahul Wadhwan, Head, talent acquisition, Infosys Bangalore. Along with this, management games and personality test were also organized by the SET team. A few students were selected from among the short listed candidates who will undergo second round of screening. The job fair of such magnitude was first of its kind which was appreciated by the Infosys team, who were instrumental in providing the platform for the aspiring youth of the region. Pepsi, Epilogue Magazine, Vehicleades, Royal Yamaha, Big 92.7 FM (Radio partner) & Jammulinks.com (web partner) were the main sponsors of the event. Several corporate heads and Managing Directors of the Export Oriented Industrial Units of Bari-Brahmana Industrial complex witnessed the event. The mega job fair was successfully conducted by SET faculty comprising of Shellka Gupta, Shaveta Bakshi, Tanvi Gupta, Sarika Mahajan, Ekta Mahajan, Rakesh Mahajan and co-ordinates were Kunal Mahajan and Akhil, Vinod, Jivtesh, Meenakshi & Veerta Devi as student volunteers under the able guidance of Prof. J R Panda, Director of the SET Business School.
