Jammu, Feb 5: Bhagwan Parshuram Janmotsav Samoroh Samiti today ceremonially set up its office amidst chanting of Vedic hymns by 11 Hindu religious scholars and preachers. On this occasion Hawan and Pujan was also held.
B.B.Raina founder head of the Simiti also announced his team, which includes Puran Sharma as Convenor, Chander Shekher Sharma, Madhu Sadotra, Kuldeep Modi, Nitin Tharmat and Narinder Singh as members. Meanwhile, Ashish Sharma of Panjthirthi undertook the fast, taking meals only one time starting from today till the Shoba Yatra of Bhagwan Parshuram takes place on Parshuram Jayanti in 16 May.
