| JKNTUF endorses EJAC strike | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 5: J&K National Trade Union Front (JKNTUF) has endorsed the two day strike call of Employees Joint Action Committee (EJAC) on February 16 and 17.
Addressing media persons here today, Gafoor Dar urged upon the rank and file of the front to mobilize the employees throughout the state for the proposed two days’ strike to force the government to settle the genuine demands.
He highlighted the various demands of the employees including 6th pay commission arrears and HRA, pay anomalies of equivalent cadres of SO and clerical, enhancement of wages of Anganwari workers/helpers, Rehbar-e-Talim and daily wagers of PHE Jammu province, retirement age from 58 to 60 years.
Others who were present on the occasion included Rajinder Kumar, Gurdeep Singh, S K Sahani, Maneer Ahmed, Babu Hussain Malik and Shazadi Gill.
