| Students of KC Public school awarded black belt | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Feb 5: In the sports of Karate, the youngsters of Jammu & Kashmir from K.C. Public School achieved a great milestone by passing the Black Belt Exam organized by All India Karate Federation (AIKF), recognized by Indian Olympic Association, Govt. of India Ministery of Sports & Youth Affairs. The grading test was conducted under the supervision of sensei M. Kanakraj, the Technical Director of AIKF and sensei Karate R.Thiagrajan, President AIKF. Master Yuvraj Singh was the youngest of all the J&K team members. Along with him were Sa-ddat Mufti, Abhishek Sharma, Tushar Jandial, and Sahil Singh were also awarded with the black belt degree. Coach Ambedkar Gupta also successfully passed his NI-DAN (II DAN) in AIKF & Yon Dan (4th Dan) in Shito Ryu Seiko Kai karate. The K.C. public school became the first school with the maximum no. of students having been awarded the Black Belts by any Govt Recognized body. To felicitate the winners a special assembly was organized in the school who made school proud. Principal of the school, Jorawar Singh appreciated the efforts of students and the school Karate Coach Ambedkar Gupta for their achievements.
