JMC intensity check on adultration

EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Feb 5: Food inspectors Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) led by health officer today made intensive checking of food articles at various markets of the city and booked 12 cases under provision of PFA act 1954 and J&K Municipal Corporation act 2000. during the checking 30 Kg of un-wholesome state cooked food was destroyed and fine of Rs 2500 was realized as fine on spot from the defaulters.
As per press officer of JMC, Kamini Kesar drive will continue and shopkeepers with food articles are asked to ensure supply of pure and fresh food articles to the customers and also keep premises neat and clean.
