| Ex-police footballers compliment team | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Feb 5: Former members of the Jammu and Kashmir Police football team today congratulated the present team for winning the 35th All India MKM Hind Zinc Football Tournament held at Zawar Mines Udaipur in Rajasthan recently.
These footballers of the past, patting the team for the major success, foresee a bright future ahead for the police football team.
It is pertinent to mention here that the J&K Police football team won first ever national level football tournament that too beating A Division League team of Amity United. The winner team of the police is trained by the Sub-Inspector and international footballer, Ranjit Singh.
Those who hailed the team’s performance were international footballer Mohd Shafi Nari, Khurshid Baba, Nazir Ahmed (National Referee), Hussain and Nissar Hussain.
