Early Times Report Jammu Feb 6 Condemning the killing of Zahid Farooq Shah, a 17-year-old boy of Nishat (Kashmir), in an unprovoked firing by the police on Friday, Prof Bhim Singh, chairman, JKNPP has demanded that NC-Congress government has miserably failed to protect lives of the people in the state thus lost any right to govern. In his statement the JKNPP chairman Professor Bhim Singh demanded immediate dismissal of the government which is criminally responsible for the death of the innocent people and destruction of property. Prof Singh expressed heart-felt condolences with the members of the family of Zahid Farooq Shah and Wamiq Farooq and prayed for heavens for the departed souls. He urged N.N. Vohra, the Governor of J&K to invoke Section 92 of the J&K Constitution as the present government has failed to govern in accordance with the Constitution and protect the lives of innocent persons. Brutal killing of two minor students namely, Wamiq Farooq and Zahid Farooq in the last two days are a living evidence against the NC-Congress government, he said. Prof Singh also accused Syed Raza Geelani, the Prime Minister of Pakistan for instigating and provoking the terrorists to disturb peace in J&K.
