| Khajuria visits Jammu East localities | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Feb 6 Former President of Bhartiya Janta Party and MLA Jammu East Ashok Khajuria today undertook an extensive tour of different localities falling under his constituency. The BJP leader during his visit to Lajpat Nagar in Company Bagh area, Qasim Nagar and Bikram Chowk interacted with the local residents and took stock of the civic problems faced by them. Addressing the party workers and locals at these places, Khajuria expressed great shock and dismay over the behaviour and attitude of the Congress MLAs and Ministers hailing from Jammu for having remained mute during the announcement by Union Minister Jairam Ramesh to the state of allocating three hundred crore rupees for the protection and improvement of various lakes of the Kashmir valley and a small sum of Rs 3 crores for Mansar lake of Jammu region. Ashok Khajuria also announced to release rupees 50,000 from his Constituency Development Fund (CDF) for fixing of tiles in Qasim Nagar and also directed the Municipal Officials accompanying him to undertake the work of erecting of railings over a nallah passing through the area.
