| NEXAS felicitate Dr. Vaid | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Feb 7: Dr. Ashok Vaid a leading cancer specialist of the country was honoured by the association of the ex-students of the Sanik School Nagrota NEXAS for being conferred with Padam Shree at a glittering ceremony held here today. Who Vaid is the alumnus of the Sainik school Nagrota was presented a roll of honour and a memento by the chairman NEXAS, Randhir Singh Bloeria, senior manager J&K Grameen Bank and the President of the association JP Singh, SSP crime, Jammu. Accepting the honour, Dr. Vaid accredited his school and the blessings to the people of Jammu for achieving excellence is the field of Oncology. Dr. Vaid, who earlier served in GMC hospital in the initial years of his career, announced that he shall conduct a free periodic camp for the cancer patients of the state in Jammu as a gesture of thanksgiving to the people of the state. Speaking on the occasion, Minister for Health and floriculture, Sham Lal lauded the professional accomplishment of Dr. Vaid and expressed his extreme satisfaction over his decision to start a free clinic in Jammu. MLA Ramnagar, Harshdev Singh, who is also an ex student of the school relived his fond memories with Dr. Vaid as a class mate and buddy in the hostel.
