| Team elected by teachers for tourism education | | | Early Times report
Jammu , Feb 7
In a historic election meet of over 150 members mainly chairpersons of various collages attended and unanimously elected Hari Dutt Shishu as President, K.K Chadha Sr. Vice President and K.K. Pandoh as General Secretary of educational tourism.
The elections were held under the appointed election commissioners mainly Prof. C.L Tikko, Sanjeev Khajuria and J.S Chauhan. The election was over seen by veteran educationists Kamal Gupta, Vikram Handa, Sanjeev Lathra. A healthy interaction took place where members voiced their urge to bring in quality educations and decided to update their institutions and get ISO accreditation for standardized education. They also decided to hold on interactive seminar between Govt policy makers and private sector educationists for streamlining so as to enable the state to meet nationwide competition. Educational tourism could be the theme to bring in important educational dignitaries from within the country and abroad to facilitate the state to be an international educational hope and a means to boost tourism.
The newly elected office bearers assured the members that they would work in the best interests of the both students and the educational institutions.
