| Govt. committed to provide, responsive, transparent Govt: Dy CM | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Feb 7: Deputy Chief Minister, Mr. Tara Chand has said that the collation Government was determined to ensure equitable development of the State and for this numerous developmental programmes have been launched in every nook and corner of the State. Addressing a public gathering at Gura Bakshinagar here today, he said that the Government is committed maintain improved work culture in the public offices as envisioned by the then Chief Minister Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad and all developmental and other projects started during his tenure will be completed. The Deputy Chief Minister said that no stone will be left unturned in bringing transparency, accountability and accessibility in the administration and all the problems confronting the people of the State will be mitigated in a phased manner, adding that it was the endeavour of the Government to provide all basic amenities to the people.
Regarding the unemployment problem, Mr. Tara Chand said that the Government has initiated an employment package under which at least one lakh educated youth will be provided employment opportunities and the persons willing to start their ventures will be provided self loans including free trainings. He also said that several measures have been taken for the beautification of Jammu city and its adjoining areas, adding that the work on various development projects and drainage system has gained momentum.
The Deputy Chief Minister sought public cooperation in the implementation of developmental and welfare programme under execution to make Jammu and Kashmir a prosperous State.
