No clues of avalanche victims

Bhaderwah, Feb 7

The search operation to trace out the three missing persons including two women of a family who were hit by a snow avalanche at Chatrigalla near Bhaderwah, on February 1 continued for the seventh consecutive day today.
In the snow avalanche incident three persons of a family lost their lives while three others went missing while they were on their way to Bhaderwah from Bani-Kothwa.
Bhaderwah Police with the support of locals are making all out efforts to find out the missing persons.
Deputy Commissioner Doda, Syed Sharifudin appreciated police and people’s joint efforts led by Additional Superintendent of Police Bhaderwah TR Katoch, Sub-Divisional Police Officer Bhaderwah Abdul Quyoom.
Four persons have been saved so far in the search and rescue operation launched immediately after the incident, informed Deputy Commissioner.
He said that the high level rescue export team of ITBP has been called to carry out further operation in order to find out the three missing persons.
