| Workshop on “Climate Change” held | | |

One day workshop on “Climate Change” was organized at Govt. Higher Secondary, Marh by Jammu and Kashmir Almi Khudai Khidmatga Association, Jammu in collaboration with WWF-India & Zonal Education Officer, Marh.
All the thirteen schools of the Marh zone participated in this workshop. ZEO Marh V.N. Bhagat who was the resource person for the eco-clubs of Marh zone Govt. School also spoke on this occasion.
The workshop comprised of on spot painting & essay writing competition where in 13 students each, one from each school took parts in each event. Earlier the programme started with the lighting of the lamp by the Principal of Govt. Higher Secondary School, Marh, being the chief guest on this occasion & Zonal Education Officer presided over the function. Chief guest presented prizes to students securing first three positions and others were given exercise books & pens as consolation prize..
R K Khajuruia, President AKKA exhorted the students to contribute their might on mitigating the factors responsible for climate change.
Participating students & the staff of the schools of the zone were served refreshment at the end of the programme.
