Early Times Report Mendhar Feb 8 The SC/ST Employees of Jammu and Kashmir Poonch Chapter have opposed the move of Pahari Speaking People to dilute the Scheduled Tribe status in J&K. This was announced in a largely attended meeting of J&K SC/ST Employees Association held here today under the Chairmanship of Prof. Mohd. Azam Shad. While speaking on the occasion, Abdul Hamid Fani, Deputy Chief Education Officer, Mendhar questioned the nomadic character Raputs, Sayed, Kashmiris, Brahamins, Mahajans and Mirza on the basis of which they floated their claim to be considered for ST status. He further appealed all the SC/ST employees of Jammu and Kashmir state to unitedly fight to protect their rights. He also cautioned the Pahari Speaking Political leaders to abstain from issuing the statement that they have support to Gujjars Community. Besides Mohd.
