JAMMU, Feb 8: A deputation of Shri Baba Amarnath and Shri Baba Buda Amarnath Yatra Niyas met the Governor, Mr. N. N. Vohra, at Raj Bhavan, here today and presented a memorandum of their recommendations.
The Governor gave a patient hearing to the deputation.
The 11-member deputation comprised President, Vishav Hindu Parishad, J&K State and Mukhya Niyasi of the Yatra Niyas, Dr. Ramakant Dubey, President, Shri Baba Amarnath and Shri Buda Amarnath Yatra Niyas, Mr. Surinder Mohan Aggarwal, Vice President, Vishav Hindu Parishad, J&K State, Mr. Subash Gupta, Secretary, Shri Amar Kshtriya Rajput Sabha, Mr. Karan Singh Charak, Convener, All J&K Guru Ravi Das Sabha, Mr. Piran Ditta, President, Aatmanand Jain Sabha, Mr. Pawan Kumar Jain, President, Aggarwal Sabha, Mr. Mahaveer Prasad, President, Associated Chamber of Traders Federation, Mr. Yash Pal Gupta, President, J&K Central Mahajan Sabha, Mr. Romesh Gupta, Senior Vice President, Chamber of Commerce and Industries, Mr. Tara Chand and Secretary, Dogra Sadar Sabha, Mr. Dineshwar Singh.
The Principal Secretary to the Governor and the Chief Executive Officer, Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board, Mr. Raj Kumar Goyal and Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Saugat Biswas, were present on the occasio.
