| Unsuccessful B Ed aspirants protests against BPEE authorities | | | JAMMU | OCT 10 Scores of B Ed aspirants, who failed to make their mark in the recently declared results of B Ed entrance examination conducted by Board for Professional Entrance Examination (BPEE), today staged a protest demonstration at BPEE’s office against the alleged irregularities in the evaluation of B Ed answer sheets and demanded the key of the question paper to know their actual position. Amid shouting of slogans, they also forced the officials to close the office for the remaining day. The demonstrators alleged that BPEE authorities have committed irregularities in the evaluation of the answer sheets of the B Ed entrance, examination for which was conducted in the last month. Alleging further demonstrators said that either it’s a technical failure or the indications of large-scale bung lings. The demonstrators remained therein an absolute situation of chaos and confusion in the absence of any senior and responsible official in the office. Mukesh Sharma, a student leader from Jammu University (JU) was leading the demonstration. Highlighting the cases of many aspirants, Mukesh said that most of the aspirants are capable of passing national level entrances and their failure in this entrance is highly impossible hence, raised serious objections over the style of functioning of BPEE. Meanwhile, none of the senior official of BPEE was present in the office during the protest, which could pacify the demonstrators. Controller Examination BPEE, Qazi Rehmatullah when contacted denied all these allegations and termed the procedure as completely tamper proof. Meanwhile, he assured to look into the grievances of the demonstrating students.
