JAMMU, Feb 9: A senior leader of Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) State Central Labour Cell, Nirmal Singh along with his 500 workers joined National Conference here today.
The new entrants were welcomed into party fold by Union Minister for New and Renewable Energy and NC president, Farooq Abdullah in an impressive but simple function organised by District President, NC (Rural) Taranjeet Singh Tony at R S Pura.
Prominent among those who were present on the occasion included Rattan Lal Gupta, Provincial president NC, Abdul Gani Malik, Minister for Higher Education, Javed Dar, Minister for Health, Ram Pal, Chairman SC/OBC Cell, Mohinder Singh, chairman JCC Bank, Bimla Luthra, MLA, Laxmi Dutta, province president, Laxmi Dutta, province president Women Wing, Rajesh Bakshi, Vinod Bhalla, Sham Mehra and Shander Mohan.
