| Weak-kneed response would embolden Pakistan to commit terror acts: KP Organizations | | | Early Times Report Bhaderwah, Feb 9: An amalgam of the frontline Kashmiri Pandit organizations held a joint meeting today at Jammu and discussed the issues of social and political concern. Members in this meeting observed that the weak-kneed response of the government of India in terms of Indo-Pak talks would embolden Pakistan to further commit acts of terrorism against this nation as we have been experiencing. ‘Pakistan has systematically eased India of its influence in Afghanistan and is now using US to pressurize India further for concessions on Kashmir issue, they said. ‘Unfortunately, the government of India seems to be seriously wanting in its diplomatic strategy against Pakistan which remains a cause of concern. The security scenario in the State of Jammu and Kashmir is deteriorating day by day. The nationalist forces had cautioned that the withdrawal of forces from the State would encourage infiltration of terrorists and terror activities in the state as is evident now, they said and added the situation demands that the government should act firmly. Members urged the Government to ensure the release of salary to the displaced employees urgently so that they do not face any problem in celebrating the festival and urged the government to airlift stranded employees on NH-1A forthwith as was done earlier in case of people stranded at Jammu before the Shivratri festival. The members expressed serious concern over the delay in the release of funds to some departments by the Government for the payment of salary to displaced Kashmiri Pandit employees on Maha Shivratri.
