| Lok Adalat settles 69 cases in Udhampur | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Feb 9: A Lok Adalat in the District Court Complex Udhampur today settled 69 cases and an amount of Rs 25,000 were realized.
The Lok Adalat was held under the Chairmanship of A K Sharma, Principal District and Sessions Judge Udhampur. The two benches were constituted to deal and settle the cases referred to the Lok Adalat.
The First Bench comprising CJM Udhampur, M K Sharma and Advocate B B Sharma to deal with petty criminal matters while the Second Bench comprising District Mobile Magistrate Udhampur Arvind Sharma and Munsiff Vinod Kumarf Bhagat and it deals with Traffic Challans.
A total of 69 cases were disposed off and an amount of Rs 25100 was realized. At this occasion Chairman District Legal Service Authority Principal District & Sessions Judge Udhampur A K Sharma appreciated the pragmatic approach of the Bar and Litigant Public in settlement of the cases.
The Lok Adalat was attended by the Judicial Officers of the Udhampur, Members of Bar and litigants. (JNF)
