| BCC Jammu West discusses peoples’ problems | | |
JAMMU OCT-10- With a view to discuss the problems confronting the people and find their remedial measures, a meeting of Congress Committee of Block 5, Jammu West Constituency, was held under the chairmanship of its President J L Koul here today.
Addressing the meeting, Koul impressed upon the party workers and members to personally visit the wards and listen to the problems and grievances of the common people to find their solutions.
The meeting congratulated veteran Party leader and Health and Education Minister Mangat Ram Sharma for taking personal interest in the development of lanes, drains and other development needs in the area apart from beautification of the Park at Talab Tiloo, a long pending demand of the area. The meeting impressed the need for creation of more job avenues for the unemployed youth of the state.
The meeting also endorsed the firm stand of Sharma in opposing the PDP’s ‘new mantra’ of self- rule and made it clear that it won’t be acceptable to the people of the state.
The meeting forcefully voiced the demand of construction of alternative road to Talab Tilloo via Bhagwati Nagar and starting Matador service to Bhagwati Nagar, Puran Nagar Talab Tilloo to Railway Station apart from regulating traffic on the Talab Tiloo route.
Vishwa Nath Sharma, Rajinder Singh, Pankaj Chib, Parihar, V K Dutta, Baldev Raj, Kaushal Sharma, Sanjeev Sharma, Capt M R Sharma, Babu Singh, Som Raj, Sandeep Sandy and Rajinder Singh Katoch were among those present in the meeting.
