JD protest price hike

State President Janta Dal United (JDU)Inder Mohinder Tar Singh led a protest of his party workers out side of Raj Bhavan besides raised slogans against UPA Government for its failure in controlling the unprecedented price rising.
Speaking on the occasion, Inder Mohinder Tar Singh said, ‘UPA led Central Government has miserably failed to control the price hike of essential commodities in the country, while farmers are not getting the basic price of their agriculture products, people in general are finding it difficult to counter the price hike’. Due to price rise common man is the worst sufferer in the country. In the Arjun Sen Gupta Committee report, it is mentioned that 80% of the population earn only Rs.20 per day which is far less for their survival’, he mentioned.
Singh informed that Janata Dal (United) will continue holding Dharnas, protest demonstrations at State capitals as well as District Headquarters to oppose the ‘price rise’. JD (U) also submitted memorandum to President through Governor of Jammu and Kashmir.
